Over 20 years of food industry experience
Eb’s Catering started from very humble beginnings after acquiring around 20 years of experience in the catering and food industry. With qualified chefs working relentlessly in many different food professions we are able to provide a high level of catering services. After gaining experience in restaurants we then went on to work at a very large school in Milton Keynes. While in this role I eventually became the manager due to my consistent hard work and motivation to become the best at providing great quality meals.
We eventually went on to launch school meal provisions catering to schools in the Milton Keynes area. As we grew, we took on more opportunities catering to 6 additional schools, thus creating more financial gains for the school. This involved preparing between 850-1200 meals per day while having on average around having 26 staff members. This venture allowed me to create more opportunities by providing more jobs.
During the year of 2016, we opened a street food stall known as ‘K’s Jerky Jerky’ alongside working at the school, which operated on the weekends and during the school holidays. This opportunity allowed us to be more creative and incorporate Jamaican culture into the food. Our culture and diversity have always stayed with us as it allows us to connect with the consumers of our food and be more inclusive with the meals we offer.
More recently we have been working independently and on a much smaller scale. The company has transformed and we now provide school meals to schools in Milton Keynes. Currently, we have been fortunate enough to provide meals to primary schools, which I have a great professional relationship with.
Our company is a family business with a genuine interest in providing honest and reliable services. We are heavily involved in the making and preparation of the foods which allows for more control. We thoroughly enjoy cooking, hence why we want to preserve a close relationship with any schools we work with while still running on a small scale. We don’t want to lose sight of the cooking aspect of running a catering service and also don’t want to take any shortcuts in how we operate.
